SAVE ENERGY
If the indoor temperature is the same before and after you have acquired Ngenic Tune, then you will save energy. More than half of our customers save more than 10%. Some save much more, but these customers are goal oriented and reduce the indoor temperature setting during holidays, etc.

REDUCED HEATING COSTS
In all probability, your current heating pump has a very small computer. We connect it to a powerful server, and your system becomes more sensitive thanks to our indoor sensor. As a result we can more efficiently calculate how to heat your home. In addition, we can take into account the heating scrollback for your house, which helps us to reduce your heating costs – without compromising your heating comfort.

A MORE UNIFORM INDOOR TEMPERATURE
Our calculations and our indoor sensor allow us to create a more uniform indoor temperature. If you want 21.5˚ indoors, then we will ensure that temperature more precisely than your heating pump is doing today.

ELECTRICITY PRICE CONTROL
We can let your system control heat according to the price of electricity. This will somewhat compromise your new (and much more uniform) indoor temperature since you will be purchasing more electricity when it is cheaper and less when it is more expensive. One prerequisite is that you must have an hourly rate agreement for electricity, which is something you arrange with your electricity supplier.

SELF-LEARNING
The longer you have Ngenic Tune installed, the better the system becomes. This is because we can access past data for how much heat your house can store and how much it is affected by sunlight. We adapt the heating according to such measurements in your house. Completely automatically.

SUNLIGHT
One important part of heating in Sweden is the sunlight. No heating pump currently takes that into consideration. Our indoor sensor does. As a result you have the advantage of maximum comfort at minimum cost.

MOBILITY
An app is included with the three white boxes. You choose if you want to control the system from the computer, cell phone or tablet computer. You can control the heat in your house regardless where you are in the world, as long as you have an Internet connection.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
The more houses with Ngenic Tune installed, the more energy we save. In addition, the load on the Swedish electricity network is reduced. If half of all Sweden’s compatible heating pumps had our system, we would be able to do without an entire nuclear reactor at Forsmark.

HEAT REDUCTION DURING HOLIDAYS
You can of course program your vacations into the app ahead of time. The temperature will then be reduced when you leave the house and be restored to the desired setting when you come home again.

OFF-LINE MODE
Our gateway can store directions for twelve hours forward, so even if your Internet goes down, we can control the temperature according to history data and statistics from your house. If the Internet is down for a longer period of time, we automatically hand over the control to your heating pump.

AVOID HEATING SPIKES
Since you can plan your heating, e.g. when you are on vacation, you can avoid being charged for heating peaks. As a result you save the energy that would have been used if you had turned off the heating pump when you left and turned it on when you came home.

WIRELESS INDOOR SENSOR
Ngenic Tune uses a wireless indoor sensor, which means no cables running all over the house. You select where to put it. In addition, the indoor sensor does not just sense temperatures, it also measures the sunlight.

SMART PASSIVE MODE
Ngenic Tune has a hardware function that means not having to worry if your Internet goes down or if our system malfunctions. Ngenic Tune will enter into a so-called ”smart passive mode” and the control will be reverted to your heating pump. With this safety function, you will always feel secure.

DISCRETE DESIGN
We have spent a lot of time on our product so that it will be seen and experienced as being well designed. It is important that you can put your indoor sensor on the wall without feeling that it is in the way or that it is ugly.

DEVELOPMENT POSSIBILITIES
Since our system is controlled from your app, we will be introducing new functions and methods for even better control – so, regardless of when you buy Ngenic Tune you will have access to all the new software.

BATTERY LIFE
Our indoor sensor and control box is operated by battery (to avoid cables) and electricity supply. Both have a service life of at least 5 years, which means that you do not have to worry about changing batteries all the time. The batteries are standard (cheap) AAA-batteries. The gateway has a normal 230 V power plug. Since power plugs are most often situated near your router, this is seldom a problem.

FEEDBACK
Our hardware has LED-lights showing low battery or faulty or successful installation. You receive the same information via the app, but this is just duplication. If something is wrong, you will see it directly on your control box.

THE OUTDOOR AND INDOOR TEMPERATURES
You get more than just control of Ngenic Tune in your cell phone – you can also see the indoor and outdoor temperatures (i.e. the temperature that your outdoor sensor has sent to the system, as well as the indoor temperature that has been measured by your indoor sensor).

LIVE CONTROL OF THE TEMPERATURE
You will constantly be able to see the current temperature and control your heating pump – when you want to, how you want to and wherever you are. You will have full control of your house and its heating.

HISTORY
Via the app in your cell phone, you can easily view the history – of both your savings and your heating temperature. We are also developing an activity history showing what we have done on specific occasions – and why.

PLANNING
You can preset for a vacation heat reduction, long weekends or party nights. In this way you can control the heating or take into consideration expected changes in heating needs. All so that you can have the comfort you want to have, combined with the chance to save energy costs.

AUTOTUNE
AutoTune is a function that performs heat control when you're away from your house. We optimize the heat control based on weather data and will maximize your savings as long as you choose to enable AutoTune. We will never lower the temperature below 12˚C and we will also avoid activating the immersion heater in your heat pump.

What do I get?
You get three white boxes and an app. This is the most important. In addition, you get peripheral equipment in the form of pliers, batteries in the boxes, and an electric adapter for the gateway, an identification tool that facilitates installation, an Ethernet cable, a reset plug, as well as a Y-cable.

What does it cost?
We offer you two alternative price models: SEK 2,495 setup fee and SEK 49 per month for as long as you want to use our services. There is no fixed contract period. Or a one-time total of SEK 4,995 for outright ownership. No monthly costs.

Does Tune work with mobile Internet?
Yes, as long as it always is turned on and connected to a modem with an Ethernet outlet. So, if you plan to use Ngenic Tune at the cottage, then you must first get either mobile or fixed Internet.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR NGENIC TUNE TO WORK?
You need a compatible heating system (see our page about compatibility). Then you need an Internet connection and a computer or cell phone with iOS, Android or Windows.

Do I have to have Wi-Fi?
No, Ngenic Tune uses radio communications. This means that we only need an Ethernet cable from your modem or router into our gateway in order for the service to function.

You have a 30-day return period. We also pay the return shipping costs if you are not satisfied. Just e-mail us at support@ngenic.se and we will arrange everything.

I HAVE AN INDOOR SENSOR, DO I NEED NGENIC TUNE?
Yes, your current indoor sensor is probably not wireless. It cannot read the sunlight, which means it is not compatible with Ngenic Tune. The idea with Ngenic Tune is that it is not just an indoor sensor, but with all the data collected, it calculates, using history on the server, what is necessary to heat your house. An indoor sensor will not solve these problems, but it will probably function better than if you only have an outdoor sensor.

CAN MY HEATING PUMP BE DAMAGED?
Your heating pump cannot be damaged by Ngenic Tune since the heating pump is not directly affected by the system, it is controlled through the outdoor sensor cable. However, the system can discover heating pump malfunction at an early stage that are otherwise difficult to discover. The outdoor sensor cannot be damaged by the connection to Ngenic Tune.

MY PRESENT WARRANTY?
Since Ngenic Tune controls the outdoor sensor cable, the heating pump is not directly affected, and therefore neither is the warranty.

DOES NGENIC TUNE WORK IN APARTMENTS?
Unfortunately, there are a number of limitations in apartment houses that remain to be solved. Until that time Ngenic Tune is only suitable for use in houses and cottages with Internet and heating pumps or heating boilers.

CAN I INSTALL IT MYSELF?
Ngenic Tune is an easy-to-install ”plug-n-play”-system. Our installation guide confirms for you ”live” when your boxes have contact with the server. It will take approx. 15 minutes to install and start the system. If you do not want to do the installation yourself, we offer installation for SEK 995 in certain parts of the country.

WHAT TOOLS DO I NEED?
A Phillips screwdriver to mount the indoor sensor (a standard Phillips screwdriver that will reach approx. 2 cm into the wall). You also need pliers to cut the cable to the outdoor sensor. The pliers are included in the delivery.

HOW MUCH DOES AN INSTALLATION COST?
We currently offer installation in the area around Uppsala and North of Stockholm. It presently costs SEK 995, VAT included.

WHAT IF MY INSTALLATION IS UNSUCCESSFUL?

DO I CUT THE CABLES TO THE OUTDOOR SENSOR?
Yes, this is the method we use to contact your heating system. Instead of you having to open up the whole heating pump, we have come up with this easy, flexible solution. It is therefore also very easy to reset if you want to stop using Ngenic Tune.

IPHONE APP?
Yes, our app functions with Android and iPhone. We will soon also introduce an app for Windows phones. If your telephone does not support apps, or you would prefer to monitor your system via a computer, browse the site tune.ngenic.se – here you will find all the information you need to control your Ngenic Tune via your stationary computer or laptop.

BATTERIES?
Two standard AAA-batteries supply power to the control box, respectively the wireless indoor. The service life of the battery is more than 5 years on both units. When it is eventually time to exchange batteries it is very easily done. It is also cheap since AAA is one of the most common types of batteries and is sold everywhere, e.g. in most grocery stores, at IKEA and Clas Ohlson. The gateway is provided with power through a power adapter, which is always included on delivery.

FUTURE FUNCTIONS?
We will continue to develop the system and offer new functions. As long as the functions are on the software side, we will put it in the app where you will either access it free of charge or be offered to unlock it at a reasonable cost.

HOW DOES ELECTRICITY PRICE CONTROL WORK?
We buy more electricity when the price is low and less when the price is high. You will still not have to compromise your comfort because the difference is minimal. However, you will notice it in your wallet. You will need an hourly rate agreement with your electricity supplier.

HOW EXACT AND UNIFORM WILL THE INDOOR TEMPERATURE BE?
Not even Ngenic Tune can attain a 100-percent uniform indoor temperature. How much more uniform the temperature becomes after installing Ngenic Tune – and how large the energy savings will be – depends on your house’s characteristics. The more uniform the temperature achieved, the more money you will save. And, the more we know about your house, the more correct a prognosis we can give you about the actual energy savings. You will be asked to give us a little more information about your house when you have finished the installation, this information you can supply via the app.

CHANGE BATTERIES?
You will need an ordinary slotted screwdriver and two new AAA-batteries for the indoor sensor. The same applies to the control box. (If you want to change batteries in the gateway, then contact us, as it has a power adapter and no batteries at all...)

HOW DO I DISCONNECT NGENIC TUNE?
It is very easy to disconnect the gateway, indoor sensor and control box. It is easiest to reset the contact with your heating system to the outdoor sensor using our reset plug that you attach to the Y-cable included. Then remove the boxes and the system is disconnected. Remove the batteries and use them in some other device.
